 onoring Black soldiers\, their spouses\, and military brats — the childre
 n raised inside the rhythm of duty stations\, deployments\, and homecomin
 gs.\n\nWe remember the fallen: the Black servicemembers who died in servi
 ce from the Revolutionary War through today — the United States Colored T
 roops\, the Harlem Hellfighters of the 369th Infantry\, the Tuskegee Airm
 en\, the Montford Point Marines\, the 6888th Central Postal Directory Bat
 talion\, the Buffalo Soldiers\, and every name carved on a stone or whisp
 ered at a kitchen table.\n\nWe honor the retired: the master sergeants\, 
 chief petty officers\, colonels\, and seamen who served full careers unde
 r flags that did not always serve them back\, and who came home to build 
 churches\, schools\, businesses\, and the next generation.\n\nWe hold the
  spouses: the partners who kept households whole through PCS moves\, sile
 nt phones\, and folded triangle flags.\n\nWe see the brats: the children 
 of Black military families whose roots stretch across Fort Bragg\, Ramste
 in\, Okinawa\, San Diego\, and beyond — carriers of a global Black memory
  shaped by service.\n\nMa'at governs this month: truth\, balance\, right
